Book Review: Abandoned Identity
Submitted by Alessandra on Sun, 07/13/2008 - 10:07.

A corporate clash
A complicated romance
A shocking secret
A dangerous journey
I won a copy of Abandoned Identity by Tamara Tilley at a giveaway hosted by Missy Frye. So thank you, Missy, for mailing this book to me!
Co-workers Jennifer Patterson and Harrison Lynch have never got on well with each other. Since the day Harrison was brought in to fill the job that should have been Jennifer's, the two have been at odds. Until one night, when they are stuck together in their offices by a blizzard and Harrison gets to see his colleague in an entirely different light.
But the next day, Jennifer seems to disappear out of thin air--and Harrison's research about her brings to nothing. But three years later, while on holiday in California, he thinks he sees her again--but is she really Jennifer?
Abandoned Identity is a romance story full of action and suspense. The mood changes quickly from romantic to thrilling, from sweet and loving to harsh and mysterious. There are many reference to the power of God to helping people who believe in Him, so this book could be cathegorized under Christian fiction as well. As my first encounter with Christian fiction, I think it went pretty well.
This book is a quick read--a romance, mystery book, and a thriller all packed into a neat little package. I'd recommend it to lovers of romantic suspense.
